Cochrane South Africa will host the first-ever Global Evidence Summit. The objective of this event is to expand the use of reliable research evidence in addressing some of the world’s most serious health and social challenges. Cochrane, The Campbell Collaboration, Guidelines International Network, the International Society for Evidence-Based Health Care, and Joanna Briggs Institute are the five biggest organisations in the field of evidence-based research and have merged for the first time to establish this prestigious evidence-based policy event.
