Health inequities, defined as avoidable and unfair differences in health, have been worsening within and between countries. This has been brought to the forefront by the COVI-19 pandemic. COVID-19 is inequitably distributed among the population, disproportionally affecting disadvantaged populations, especially minorities and those of lower socioeconomic status. Read the Editorial
