Cochrane Africa's projects aim to address its four goals as well as issues specific to sub-Saharan Africa. We carried out priority setting exercises to identify regionally relevant topics for Cochrane Reviews, with registration of new Cochrane Reviews where gaps were identified. To ensure accessibility to Cochrane evidence we carried out translations of abstracts and plain language summaries of existing review addressing priority topics into Portuguese, French and other languages indigenous to Nigeria. We also translated training material into French and Portuguese, which were used when we hosted workshops in French- and Portuguese-speaking countries.
