Remember to cast your vote for the Cochrane Governing Board

Voting for the Cochrane Governing Board closes on 21 August 2020 and Cochrane has therefore made public the list of candidates. 

Cochrane is a collaboration whose strength is in its diversity and international reach. The Governing Board wants to ensure that this is reflected in its membership and so, for this election, one of the two places available is restricted to a Cochrane Member who is a citizen or resident of a lower- and-middle-income country or territory. The other place is available to anyone who is a Cochrane Member, including citizens or residents of LMICs.

The Governing Board is also specifically seeking candidates with expertise in the following areas:

• Knowledge translation or science/health communication
• Evidence-informed policy making
• Legal experience
• Advocacy
• Open Access to research outputs 

We encourage all Cochrane members to exercise their vote to ensure the representivity and inclusivity of the Board.
