SPIRIT 2013 and CONSORT 2010 are currently being updated. It has been 9 years since SPIRIT was first published and 12 since CONSORT was last updated. We want to ensure that the updated versions of these core guidelines reflect new evidence and current opinion, and reflect the views of stakeholders with clinical trial expertise in a broad range of roles, settings, and geographic locations.

We will soon be launching a short online Delphi survey to gather stakeholder input. We are inviting people to sign up to participate in the Delphi survey via our project website here, where you can also find out more information about the project.
